In the region of the Barun Glacier in the Great Himalaya Mountains, Nepal, Protomyobia kounickyi sp.n., which is described from the male, female and deutonymph, was found on Soriculus caudatus soluensis, and Radfordia lemnina (Koch) was collected from Alticola roylei at high altitudes (3450-4900 m).
