The clinical manifestations, EEG findings, differential diagnosis and presumptive etiology were discussed based on experience with approximately 1500 children with myoclonic seizures. Among the treatments discussed were ketogenic diets, ACTH and corticosteroids, diazepam, bromides, dextromphetamine sulfate and other experimental drugs.
