Amongst 1998 serum samples of cattle from 14 State farms, the prevalence of antibodies detected in clinically healthy animals and those with symptoms of respiratory and enteric disease was, respectively, bovine rhinotracheitis virus, 13.57 and 16.16%; viral diarrhoea, 15.71 and 44.25; adenovirus, 55.71 and 73.41%, and Chlamydia 8.14 and 8.58%.
