This review is intended to present genetic diseases in Indonesia, in terms of scale of the problem, their management and the available services for patients and their families. Description of the distribution of the disorders will be limited to certain genetic diseases. Most of the information about genetic services is obtained directly through questionaires from major faculties of medicine or prominent teaching hospitals
