Malignant fibrous histiocytoma is the most common soft tissue sarcoma of adult life with a peak age of incidence in the sixth and seventh decades. This tumor rarely occurs in children. Our review of the literature found no reports of the tumor occurring in children as a primary lesion of the lung.
