An outbreak of Histoplasma capsulatum infection affecting 3 residents of USA on a visit to the Aguas Buenas caves, where they came in close contact with bats and bat guano, is presented. Visits to caves in Puerto Rico should be discouraged until studies have revealed that there as no health hazard.
