急性疼痛是急診病人就診的主要原因，肢體創傷疼痛佔58–66%的急診創傷病人，解決病人疼痛成為急診醫療照護的重要議題之一；本文藉由非藥物的輔助介入措施，包括創傷肢體照護、治療性觸摸的身體操作療法，與加強支持系統、營造療癒環境的身心介入法，以提供急診護理人員對肢體創傷疼痛病人多元化的急診照護，強化止痛療效，以提升病人的舒適及照護，及減少回診率。.
