Medroxyprogesterone acetate (MPA) is a strongly active contraceptive agent. Nevertheless, pregnancies do occur from time to time in spite of treatment with MPA. The case reported in the present paper shows that ectopic pregnancy with its signs and symptoms remains possible as well. However, it appears to be the 1st case of its kind to have thus far been published. (author's)
