As outpatient surgery develops, the nursing teams involved find themselves creating innovative practices. These practices must be assessed. A telephone questionnaire carried out the day following surgery is one of the assessment tools used. While it constitutes a lever for the improvement of patient management, it also represents a means of ensuring the continuity of care.
