The article deals with data on causes of high noise levels in Kazakhstan cities and on role of transport noise in urban environment. Development of all kinds of transport, traffic routes caused humans exposure to intense noise levels. Traffic contents and intensity appeared to be major factors changing noise mode of city transport traffic.
