Clinical changes associated with dictyocauliasis in cattle are described. It may be distinguished from other respiratory diseases by (i) normal or only slightly raised temperature - while the lung symptoms are severe, (ii) marked eosinophilia, (iii) presence of the larvae in faeces and (iv) occurrence of the disease while the animals are on pasture.
