The authors present new data on the results of rehabilitative treatment of 360 patients in the acute phase of cerebral stroke with the ischemic focus located in one of the carotid and vertebrobasiliar basins. They demonstrate the direct dependence of the success of restoration of locomotor activity on the early onset of remedial therapy and the significant correlation between the effect of physical exercises and the localization of the ischemic focus in the brain.
