Research of influence of prebiotic lactitol on growth and biological activity of probiotic cultures Bacillus subtilis--the basis of the preparation endosporinum and some strains of the indigenous microflora of the human intestinal tract was conducted. Lactitol is actively utilized by bacteria B. subtilis and is characterized by the expressed bifido- and lactogenic properties. The obtained results show, that lactitol is a promising prebiotic for development of synbiotics on the basis of strains of the Bacillus genus bacteria.
