The follow-up study of epileptic patients discharged from neurological units of the emergency hospital

50 epileptic patients of neurological units of the emergency hospital No 6 were subjected to retro- and prospective studies. Most important treatment defects on before and post hospital stages were analyzed. It was revealed t important patient contingent, which did not have systematic control by physicians--almost a half before and 30% after hospital discharge, only 6% got medical supervision by epileptologists. It was shown essential increase of treatment effect as result of supervision by epileptologist. It is grounded necessary of study by neurologists of special epilepsy program.
