When we see headache patients, it is most important thing that we rule out patients with intracranial diseases. Intracranial diseases with headache are so many. I'd like to emphasize some intracranial diseases with headache not to miss. Especially subarachnoid hemorrhage due to ruptured cerebral aneurysm is a serious disease not to miss. Recently the cases of dissecting cerebral aneurysm (vertebral artery) and venous/sinus thrombosis are increasing with spreading MRI/MRA examination. And brain tumors and chronic subdural hematoma is a serious disease not to miss in recent Japanese aging society. I'd like to mention these important diseases with headache.
