The author describes the principal alterations in form and in meaning underwent by classicaI Greek words along centuries, to become the medical Ear Nose and Throat terms of today. He tries to show us how great and unappreciated is the richness of these words sometimes called « technical ». As far Medicine is concerned, Humanism may not be forgotten.
