There were examined 78 patients, to whom the lower extremity amputation on the hip level was performed. Complex examination, using the nuclear magnet resonance relaxation and arteriography, was performed. Introduction of method of the lower extremity amputation on the hip level, the apparatuses for the cutaneo-fascial flaps cutting out had permitted to reduce the purulent-septic complications frequency from 34.1 down to 7.8% and postoperative mortality--from 13.1 to 5.3%.
