The author refers to the results of clinical research whether the assignment of girls for distinct professional works affects the development and function of their genitalia. Some kinds of work are without such effect. Besides he emphasized that the preventive care for the woman from her birth till her old age is not up to date, as far as children and adolescents are concerned, because the physicians are not erudite in the anatomy and physiology of infantile genitals, and the paediatrics do not make any difference in prevention for boys and girls. The author outlined the principles of correct prevention in the development of uterus and has drawn the attention to the harms caused by sports and injuries in the pelvic region. Finally he explained his negative point of view to the oral contraception of young women under 20 years age.
