On the basis of the results so far obtained, pidotimod has proven a drug of great interest, due to its stimulating activity on the immune system, with a notable clinical effectiveness in conditions of relative immunodepression, such as those previously mentioned. It certainly deserves to be closely investigated also in conditions of severe immunodepression.
