Normal visual cortical-evoked response in the dog

Visual cortical-evoked responses in 10 mongrel dogs were recorded with a 'digital signal averaging' method to form a basis on which visual dysfunction may be diagnosed. Mean latency of the first large afferent positive response was 58.26 msec. ( plus or minus 11.40), with an amplitude of 11.2 mu v. ( plus or minus 6.14). amplitude and latency values are given for the specific electrode positions and photostimulus utilized.
