The results show that electromyographic irregularities are present before and after treatment and it was not possible in this study to correlate them in all cases with the occlusal patterns. The investigation shows the paramount need for a longitudinal study through all stages and a more refined analysis of electromyographic results using integrators as suggested by Marx (1963).
