The form of facial dermatitis which is called "light sensitive seborrheid" by Frumess and Lewis (1957) and classified with rosacea as a mild form of "eruption papulo-pustuleuse miliaire recidivante de la face" by B r o c q (1907) is described and differentiated from the so-called perioral dermatitis an the basis of our own observations. The term "Kleinpapulöses Seborrhoid" ("small-papular seborrheid") is suggested as appropriate designation in the -German language.
