The inhibition of Pseudomonas aeruginosa by the combined action of ascorbic acid, Sulphamethoxazole and Trimethoprim has been reported on the basis of agar diffusion and growth curve studies. The possible usefulness of this combination in the systemic therapy of pseudomonad infections is suggested.
