Growth diagrams for height, weight and head circumference have been prepared on the basis of values obtained from a prospective longitudinal study of 212 Swedish children. These growth diagrams have been designed in such a way that the psychomotor development and the development towards puberty can also be assessed. The data published in recent years for the heights and weights of Swedish children at different ages agree with those on which the growth diagrams are based. On the other hand, there are differences in relation to previous investigations, due, inter alia, to the secular trend.
