This paper describes the growing trend of precision agriculture (PA) in the USA. It discusses: the 2 broad categories of PA (spatial and/or temporal sensing technology and application control technologies); those who adopt PA; and the future of PA. It is suggested that there will be a steady growth in the adoption of PA technology during the next few years.
