Amikacin (BB・K8）は,プリストル万有研究所で開発された新らしいアミノ配糖体系抗生物質で，Kanamycin A の構成分である 2・Deoxystreptamine 部分のC-i アミノ基を L（一）一γ-Amino・α-hydroxybutyric acid でア シル化したKM 誘導体である。 木剤は，その特徴として緑膿菌(Pseudomonas) を含むKanamycin (KM)耐性菌に対しても抗菌作用をもつこ とが指摘されている。 われわれは，Amikacin について抗菌試験，吸収，体内移行に関する基礎的検討を試みたほか，産婦人科領城に おける臨床効果を検討したので，以下に報告する。
