Oncicola schacheri n.sp. was recovered from the intestine of 11 of 51 Vulpes vulpes palestina in Lebanon. It is characterized by the size of its unbarbed hooks (95 to 210 mu ) and by body size. Also in Lebanon, Nephridiorhynchus major is recorded from 7 of 11 Erinaceus europaeus concolor and Tchadorhynchus quentini from one Hyaena hyaena; both are new geographical records.
