It is controversial in which way the human body can tolerate mechanical stress and later develop sequelae after deceleration trauma. A report on a 26-year-old male who survived a free fall of 28 metres from a building. It is accounted for an achieved velocity of 81 kph and accumulated energy of 21,000 Joule.
