GC-MS analysis of volatile constituents of rhizoma Heterosmilacis

To extract and analyze the volatile constituents from the dried rhizomes of Heterosmilax yunnanensis(A) and H. chinensis(B). Qualitative and quantitative analysis were made by GC-MS and GC. Forty and forty-seven constituents were identified from A and B respectively, the identification rates being 74.85% and 81.26% respectively. The volatile constituents of A and B are almost the same, but slightly different in content.
