In the arena of environmental health science, we need more data, and we must better interpret the information we have already. Perhaps our greatest deficit, however, lies in the need to communicate more effectively with the public on matters of environmental health science. At the heart of better environmental health, we believe, is a critical need for scientists to become more active in communicating environmental risks.
