Experiments with mongrel dogs inhaling xenon with oxygen (80:20) under conditions of a 4-week subchronic experiment (2-h endotracheal inhalations every 3 days, a total of 10 sessions) according to the closed contour method with the minimal gas flow showed no signs of toxic effect of xenon, as evidenced by functional, biochemical, hematological, and morphological findings.
