Thirteen patients affected by menopausal depression have been treated with trazodone. Therapeutic results assessed with Hamilton rating scale for anxiety and Hamilton rating scale for depression have been very positive, especially as regards the somatic and psychic symptoms of anxiety and nuclear symptoms of depression.
