Bladder neck cysts in women

A case of a cyst located in the bladder neck in a female patient is described. The rarity of this condition prompted us to report the present case. The patient presented with urinary infection and posteriorly developed difficulty in voiding. The US, urographic and cystoscopic studies disclosed a cyst located in the bladder neck, which was confirmed by the surgical and histopathological findings. This uncommon condition involving the bladder neck or trigone should be considered when making the differential diagnosis in patients with dysuria.
