A new surgical technique for the correction of longitudinal median and paramedian incisional hernia uses the hernial sac itself, a tissue of good resistance and healing properties, to cover raw areas, remake the abdominal wall anatomy, propitiate tensionless sutures and render unnecessary the use of prosthetic material, even in the largest hernia.
