Experience with 100 women using Kombiquens as a contraceptive is reported. 2 pregnancies, 1 due to faulty pill-taking, were observed in the study group. Side effects were observed in only 12 patients and included weight gain, nausea, and breakthrough bleeding. 2 women with varicosis reported increased venous pain. Thrombosis and amenorrhea were not observed. Full contraceptive security is not reached until the 2nd cycle, but the excellent tolerance of this preparation is a recommendation.
