A clinico-pathological study of 77 cases seen in the hospital during 1968 showed that most of the patients were farmers or their families between 3 and 30 yr old and men outnumbered women by over 3:1. All cases had bathed in local muddy pools also used by animals. The site of attachment was the nasal septum in 37.7% cases, inferior turbinate (31.2), floor of the nose (20.8), middle meatus (6.5) and post-nasal space (3.9). Four cases of ocular infection were also seen involving the conjunctiva.
