Between 1968 and 1971, thirteen outbreaks of riboflavin deficiency were diagnosed in Denmark among chicks 7-28 days old. There was hypertrophy of sciatic and brachial nerves. The histological appearance of these nerves is shown in eight colour photomicrographs.
