An operational model of the antigen-antibody interaction

A description of the antigen-antibody interaction based on the mass action law is applied to the complex system of a heterogeneous antigen and a mixture of antibodies. A model of this system is constructed and mathematically described. It provides a tool for the simulation of immunoassays.
