In the context of the WHO-project "Vienna-Healthy City" problems concerning health promotion in an urban renewal district were examined. On that occasion planners and physicians practised intersectoral collaboration. Some of the results, especially the answers of the occupants of two blocks concerning health, environment and health promotion are presented and discussed.
