Mixed haemadsorption, cytotoxicity, and immunofluorescence tests demonstrated common surface antigens in cells of mice, rats, hamsters, cats, dogs and horses containing type C virus particles, and in human embryo cells infected with murine or feline leucaemia or sarcoma viruses.
