The intensity of 3H-uridine incorporation, DNA content and number of nucleoli were measured in the same cells on charted preparations of isolated rat hepatocytes. It is shown that intensity of 3H-uridine incorporation and the number of nucleoli increases proportionally with the cell ploidy.
