Time series analysis of out pateints at Urban Health Centre, Suraj Kund, Meerut, was done using the out patient attendance of the last 5 years. The analysis was undertaken to determine methods of coping with various problems of health administration and management. The least square method and ratio-to-trend method were adopted for calculating the secular trends and seasonal variations, respectively. There was an increasing trend in out patient attendance indicating the increasing popularity of the Centre. It was found that in second and third quarters of the year, the outpatient attendance increased due to various reasons. No attempt was made to analyze cyclical trends or irregular fluctuation, due to their insignificant impact on the health management system.
