Disophenol effectively eliminated the adult nematodes from the gastro-intestinal canal, killing all those located in tumours within about 3 days after s/c administration. However, larvae found in liver, diaphragm and skeletal muscle resisted its action during the same period. No toxic or other ill effect was observed.
