The Court held that a divorced wife who contributed to family expenses, raised three children, and acted as manager or proprietor of her husband's business was entitled to a part share in the business, which, as a result of going public in the United States after the divorce, was worth $30 million. It awarded her a lump sum settlement of $7.5 million.
