Canine toxoplasmosis caused the following neurological disorders in four dogs: flaccid paraplegia, spastic paraplegia, ataxia with intention tremor and hemiparesis (with hemianopia and seizures), which were the result of lesions in the spinal root, spinal cord, cerebellum and cerebrum, respectively. Histological examination revealed Toxoplasma organisms and, in two cases, free and encysted forms of the organism.
