Infusion therapy tactics during prolonged reconstructive and plastic surgery using microsurgical techniques

The impact of various infusion therapy techniques has been studied in 166 patients during microsurgery for posttraumatic tissue defects. It has been established that the achievement of hypervolemic hemodilution is accompanied by the damage of water-electrolyte homeostasis and peripheral circulation during the operation and on the first postoperative day. Normovolemic hemodilution makes it possible to prevent the above disturbances and optimize peripheral blood flow in case the infusion programme is compiled adequately with an obligatory introduction of blood plasma preparations.
