A 37-year-old women presented with epileptic fits and monoclonal IgG lambda type on CSF examination. A stereotactic brain biopsy disclosed a lymphoplasmacytic lymphoma with local amyloid deposits. The pathogenesis of this unusual localized amyloidosis is discussed.
