The proceedings of the seminar contains 12 papers on different and diverse aspects of mule breeding. These include the history of mule breeding, the use of working mules in the army, on farms and in forestry and the recent passion for riding mules and the dressage of mules. Papers on mule karyotypes, the education of mules, the importance of mules in ancient cultures and attitudes to mules expressed in the Old and New Testament and the Koran are also included.
