"Daily problems" as stressing factors in a student population

An enquiry has been conducted to identify the most common hassles among University students (N = 169); from the 62 most frequently reported, a 62-item Daily Hassle Index has been developed. By asking the subjects to indicate how often each problem distressed them, the ten most commonly irritating hassles were isolated.
