Combined treatment of tumors with radiation and hyperthermia results elevation of response rate. Radio-resistant tumors such as adenocarcinoma, soft tissue sarcoma are also treated effectively by the combined modality. Thermal sensitivity of human neoplasm seems to be same regardless of histology. Sensitization of the effect of radiation specially for radioresistant tumors would be important factor in the treatment of tumors.
